CentOS in VPS Servers
CentOS is available with each and every VPS server that we offer and you can select it during the order process from among a few other Operating Systems. Determined by the software which you need to set up and run, you'll be able to select between the 32-bit and the 64-bit version and your new VPS will be installed and operating soon after that. CentOS supports all the three hosting Control Panels which we offer - cPanel, DirectAdmin and Hepsia. This enables you to choose if you'd like to use the server for your personal web sites and to manage it as one large account, or if you want to be able to make a variety of hosting accounts and resell them to other people. Of course, you may also purchase a VPS without any Control Panel and you will get a server with an Operating System and the Apache web server software, but nothing else on it, so you can set up just the software that you want for your apps.
CentOS in Dedicated Servers
CentOS is among the Operating Systems that we provide with all our dedicated server packages. Throughout the sign-up process, you can choose from the 32-bit and the 64-bit release of the OS and make sure that the software environment on your new server matches the requirements of the apps that you intend to set up. In contrast to other Operating Systems, CentOS will also allow you to select from a couple of web hosting Control Panels, based on what you need the server for. With Hepsia, for instance, you will be able to control the server like an individual account whatever the number of domain names that you host, while with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you're able to generate an individual account for each domain name, which will give you the opportunity to start a web hosting reseller business. In case you do not choose any Control Panel, you will get the server with CentOS only, as the software that comes with the Control Panels won't be installed. We also supply regular OS updates included in our own Managed Services package, so you won't need to devote effort and time downloading and installing the most up-to-date and most protected software on the dedicated server.
